This is How Force Touch Could Work on the iPhone 6s [Video]

Check out this concept video demonstrating how Apple's new Force Touch feature might work on the iPhone 6s.

Designer Maximilian Kiener says, "The idea is to jump into any settings menu with a 'Force Tap' on an icon, be it the Bluetooth-icon, or an App-icon. Historically, settings has been one of the domains where Android had a UX lead over iOS. To introduce a universal interaction for improving it at this maturity-stage of the OS would be a big deal. I'd be curious what other UX-ideas on an OS-level people out there have."

Notably, Force Touch modules for the iPhone 6s are reportedly being mass produced already and photos of a leaked Force Touch display were allegedly posted online a few days ago.

Take a look at the concept video below and let us know what you think in the comments.

I can already do that by holding down on the icon and it goes to wifi in settings or bluetooth etc.

1. How is that any different that a long press? 2. I'd still rather have wireless charging.

1. Exactly. 2. There's a case to do that or better yet, motion chargers that don't require electricity (unless you want to charge it like a regular battery).

Its hella different because hes pressing hard on the icon its way better then holding cuz what if u hold it by accident. then you will be mad. the apple watch has the exact same thing and it works smooth no flaws

Just another concept. Nothing more than a simp,e tap to the settings app to do the exact same thing, but why would Apple do it like this if they haven't shown the real outcome yet?
