iOS 9 Defaults to Using a 6-Digit Passcode PIN

Posted June 9, 2015 at 1:02am by iClarified
Apple has updated iOS to use a six digit numeric passcode PIN by default. Previous versions of the operating system would prompt users to setup a four digit passcode.

While a six digit passcode is more secure, you may want to consider changing your code to an even more secure alphanumeric one. You can find instructions on how to do that here.

Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates on iOS 9.

That depends. Can they do it before iOS 9 can?
