How to Enable Airplane Mode on the Apple Watch and iPhone at the Same Time [Video]

These are instructions on how to enable Airplane Mode on the Apple Watch and the iPhone at the same time.

Step One
To enable Airplane mode on the Apple Watch, swipe up on the clock face then swipe to the Settings glance.

Step Two
Tap the Airplane Mode button to turn it On or Off.

Step Three
To mirror the Airplane Mode setting with your iPhone, tap to launch the Apple Watch app from your SpringBoard.

Step Four
Choose Airplane Mode from the My Watch tab.

Step Five
Then toggle the Mirror iPhone switch to the ON position.

When this option is ON, enabling Airplane Mode on the Apple Watch will also enable it on the iPhone, and vice versa.

But when you turn airplane mode off on one, will it turn off as well on the other? And if so doesn't that mean that some type of transmission took place and hence makes airplane not safe for actual airplanes?

In flight text is allowed thereby not affecting airplanes, yet I doubt turning airplane mode on one would do the same to another.

it doesn't do that. if you switch airplane mode on on either your iPhone or watch, and so switching it on on the other one as well, they lose contact and switching it back on on either one won't do it on the other. this is why I had so disable this option.
