iPhone 6 Dipped in Hot Ice [Video]

Posted February 3, 2015 at 5:18pm by iClarified
Check out this video that tests if the iPhone 6 can survive being dipped in sodium acetate also known as hot ice.

The video, posted to YouTube by TechRax, shows the iPhone 6 being placed into the solution and the liquid crystallizing around the phone. After about ten minutes the iPhone is extracted.

Take a look at the video below to see if it survives!

... as always "Peace Out" Every iPhone YouTube nerd I see on here ends their videos with that .. are they trying to validate their coolness? I'm pretty sure even Dr Dre quit saying that in the 90s ..

You don't know how many people need a freaking phone like me or people who actually need them to work and you are just dropping them on hot ice, frying them in coca-cola, sometimes... I wish you were the freaking phone TechRax!! More like TechShit... P.S. I don't know if it was the same guy that boiled the phone in Coca-Cola but still!!

My favorite part of the video was when he burned his hands on the ice. Clearly he did not have the proper tools for this lame experiment.

That's not a real iPhone. The margins on the side is wrong(too thick), heck the spacing from the top down on the settings page is too wide. Many of the fake phones have an issue where you have turn the screen off, because it won't turn off since it is running the "fake IOS". Some knockoff makers have switched to an IOS theme. Notice how he did not stay in "Safari". Also stupid test.

I'm always interested to see what the phones can survive, I dropped mine into my washing up bowl full of water (not on purpose) and it's still working fine, it would be nice to get to a point where nothing could kill it,
