Walmart Discounts iPhone 6 to $129, iPhone 6 Plus to $229 [$70 Off]

Walmart is discounting the iPhone 6 from $199 to $129 ($70 off) and the iPhone 6 Plus from $299 to $229 ($70 off), reports Bloomberg.

With the new discounts, Wal-Mart aims to drum up traffic two weeks before Christmas. Less than 10 percent of Americans have completed their shopping for the holiday, the company said, citing the National Retail Federation. Wal-Mart also is selling the iPhone 5S for $49 with a contract, down from $79, and Samsung Electronics Co.’s Galaxy S5 for $79, compared with $139. Even before the cuts, the prices were below retail levels.

Notably, Walmart is also going to be selling the iPhone 6 64GB model for $229, that's $70 off from its retail $299 price.

The deals are only available in stores. Pricing is based on a typical two year carrier contract.

I think the safest & cheapest way to get an iPhone off-contract and unlocked is through the Apple Online Store.

Or through an Apple Retail Store. As for ebay, I don't trust its sellers enough to buy such a device from any of them. Have a nice day.
