A new drone video has surfaced that shows Apple has started building the structure of Apple Campus 2, it's new headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Late last month Apple submitted revised plans for Phase 2 of construction to the City of Cupertino. They requested approval of an Architectural and Site approval and a Tree Removal Permit to refine the phase 2 portion of Apple’s previously approved office, research and development campus.
When Apple Campus 2 opens in 2016, it will feature over 700 base isolators to prevent structural and architectural damage, making it the largest base-isolated building in the world. It will also cover 176 acres, exceed 2.8-million square feet, and accommodate over 12,000 staff.
