Apple will reportedly ship a Retina display model of its 27-inch iMac before the end of this year; however, a new 21-inch model won't be released until next year, according to KGI.
In a new research note obtained by 9to5Mac, KGI also addressed new iPads, predicting that we won't see a new iPad mini.
With regards to the iPad Air 2, KGI says that constrained supplies are likely, with a possible initial shipment of only 7-9 million. Compare that to the original iPad Air, which kicked of sales with 12 million units. The iPad mini is said not be on the list for an update this time year. A 12.9″ iPad is also said to be in development, though no timeline seems to have been set for its release.
As previously reported, Apple is not expected unveil a new 12-inch MacBook Air at this week's event. However, the company will likely launch OS X Yosemite.
Apple's special event takes place on October 16th. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
