An iPhone 6 logic board with chips in place has been leaked online by Feld & Volk (via Sonny Dickson) revealing an A8 processor, a NFC chip, and more.
The photo below shows us the iPhone 6′s motherboard, along with the chips such as the AVAGO and the Apple A8 chip which is said to be 2GHz dual-core 20nm 64-bit A8 CPU and much faster and smaller than the 1.3GHz 28nm A7 chip.
As rumored the NFC chip is from NXP. Apple is now widely expected to release some type of mobile payments platform which could even extend to its wearable device.
The leaks are coming in fast ahead of Apple's September 9th event! Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for all the latest updates.
Well, there is not much left for Apple to show in the unveiling of the new iPhone. I think we get everything covered already. What puzzles me is the lack of any leak for the iWatch....
Looking at the recent leaked case and this, it looks like the holes don't match up correctly. Plus, just like phones in the past the board sat on the right side, with plugs facing up and the battery was on the left. This looks like it will be on the left and the battery to the right of it. Don't think it would sit flipped over since the plugs and chips would be covered up and not accessible. I'm thinking this might be for either the larger 5.5 inch iPhone or possibly a new iPad.
Nevermind. Looking at the casing and board again I figured out how it sits. Was thinking the black ribbon part sat on the bottom. Should be on top like the last pic. Looking at the first pic confused me a bit
I'm wondering why there's all the scribbles covering up stuff in the pics. Wonder if it could be that apple could track the serial numbers back to the supplier that leaked it. Hmm.
