A newly leaked schematic for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, codenamed N56, reveals that the smartphone will feature a protruding camera.
Looking at the image below we can see that the camera ring will stick out from the body of the iPhone 6 by 0.67 to 0.77 mm.
Apple.club.tw corroborates reports that the body of the 4.7-inch model will be 7mm thick; however, they did not offer any information on whether the 5.5-inch model, codenamed N61, would have the same protruding camera.
Back in March, photos which allegedly showed the iPhone 6 undergoing testing at Foxconn also featured a camera that stuck out slightly from the body. Check those out here.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9th. For more details, please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS.
And have you noticed how vertically uncentered the lens is? Uglily touching the horizontal section? It looks like the uncentered icons initially made for the iOS7. The problem is that you can change a design nightmare easily in an OS but it is not so easy on the hardware. Oh, how I miss Steve!!
More like months. The prototype models that they sent off to companies to make cases had a protruding lens for the camera too. And I think it's going to be ugly. I don't like this about the new iPhone :/
