Apple has started the production of new iPads, according to a Bloomberg report.
Mass production of a full-sized iPad with a 9.7-inch screen is already under way, with an unveiling projected for the end of this quarter or early next, said two of the people, who asked not to be identified because the details aren’t public. A new version of the 7.9-inch iPad mini is also entering production and will probably be available by the end of the year, they said.
Earlier this month photos of an alleged iPad Air 2 rear shell leaked online. The images show a rear shell with a redesigned speaker grill and a relocated rear microphone next to the camera.
In April an alleged front panel for the next generation iPad Air was leaked as well. Apple is expected to upgrade the iPad Air in the third quarter of 2014 with an A8 processor, Touch ID (fingerprint recognition), and a main camera resolution of 8MP.
I’m really excited about the new iPad coming out. Especially after all the articles I’ve read about the features it’s going to have and I better sell my old iPad before the value of it drops. I just read an article on a company called RecomHub, they compare 8-13 of the buyback companies and shows you what price they will give you when you sell.
It’s like Kayak but for electronic devices that show you all the offers in one spot.
I hate when they trickle these updated features that should have been released already. I feel they are running out of ideas. At some point I guess it's inevitable.
I feel like they release it when they need to because it takes time to make perfection or they just need to finish some work like they did before they can move on, but what else is there to add? Besides apple never runs out of ideas, look at this years osx and Yosemite and beyond that, how both work together.
