iPhone 6 Release Delayed Due to In-Cell Touch Panel Production, Chassis Problems?

A new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 release dates may be delayed due to in-cell touch panel production issues and low-yield casing / chassis problems.

GforGames relayed the report from Liberty Times Net:

Reportedly, while the 4.7-inch model may tackle these difficulties with more ease, this fresh report further strengthens the idea that the 5.5-inch model will be released towards the end of the fourth quarter, or sometime in early-2015.

Another recent report said that Apple may be planning to launch the iPhone 6 on Tuesday, October 14th during what will be an 'incredibly busy' month for the company. That's considerably later the rumored mid-September unveiling of the device, perhaps accounting for the production issues.

There's nothing like a 'news report' from insiders that's proven completely false only hours later by an announced release event. I'm getting sick of the worthless junk reports by any Tom, Dick or Henrietta who happens to work in a foreign factory. How about we do some reputable reporting for a change?

Same BS every year. Apple will release on their time. Apple is never late, they release precisely when they mean to.
