For some reason DP5 stopped my network on all 3 Mac's after I installed it on top of DP4 so I had to re-install the whole thing from the 5GB install file over the upgrade and then it started working again. Looks like the upgrade messed up the network stack as wifi and wired both broken despite getting IP from my router fine. Fresh install of DP5 into spare partition worked as expected. Just the upgrade didn't

Today I took backup and resort to Mavericks from updated version of Yosemite. I hope you people may correct me if mistaken, I tried every thing to install update version of HP Desktop Inkject software but the mac got stuck every time I try to connect the cable or give printing order. So, eventually no other option than to step down. :(

Yosemite works fine for me. I evidently had a new enough Parallels, so that's not a problem here.

Most of the apps work fine Yosemite, The whole Adobe CC 2014, Little Snitch works go to developer site to download the Yosemite version, and it actually is very smooth, only now and then you will come across a glitch like in safari only half of the window shows on certain websites. Overall Beta 4 of Yosemite is quite stable.

I want to install Yosemite but I believe that I will wait until all the kinks are worked out...

If you rely on your mac dont try the beta. I did and a lot of applications went dead - Parallels , microsoft lync, webex, little snitch and so on. Glad I had a time machine backup to use.

Thanks for the heads up! I figured that.... I just purchased my mac about 2 months ago so I'll just wait until the final release is ready :)

I downloaded it. I dont use my mac for "work" so it didnt bother me. Havent had any issues but some apps do not work for obvious reasons. They are not updated for Yosemite. The OS itself works pretty good though.

Not having any issues using Yosemite with my non Apple Apps. So far the only app that has a few bugs is Safari. I have noticed a few cosmetic flaws like in the network setting panel things don't line up properly but noting that interferes with using the OS everyday. Looking forward to using all the ios8 integration features when both systems are released to the public. Apple is definitely doing it right and for free.
