A new survey by WalletHero reveals that better battery life is a more important to iPhone 6 buyers than a larger display.

In our survey we asked over 1,500 people what new features they want to see for the iPhone 6. Those surveyed could answer multiple choices within the question and as you can see the vast majority want to see longer battery life (97%) followed by a larger screen (85%).

I think everyone forgets the most import thing - a cell with a crappy signal reception is totally useless unless you want to use it as an ipod.

Why can't we get it all, as far as that list of features surveyed? At least the top 3 or 4... Obviously, we all want that. I hate that I had to go to Samsung to get most of what's on this list, sacrificing overall device quality along the way. That said, the Note 3 is pretty near perfect for me... but does not play all that nice with other Apple hardware.

Because, most people will try to get the phone for cheaper. So, if they find one cheaper that do only what they want, they will. Manufacturers are not going to put all 120 features that exist, if only 20 will sell to the majority. I really am looking for a dual sim device due to my frequent travels. I have 4 active sims, and depending on my destination, I will usually carry 3 sims with me. A dual sim phone and my mobile hotspot would be perfect. So far, I have to rely on a shitty Android phone for my travels. Many people around the world are used to dual sim devices. But those markets are usually the low(budget) ones. They seek the cheapest device possible. And often choose a made in China knock off. So if you have to choose 1 or 2 variants… which one will you make? If course, the one that will make the most sales. Unfortunatly for me, not many people in my case, willing to pay $1000 for an unlocked device that I like (often the iPhone) that will have dual sim and long battery life. Hopefully NFC as well. I sure don't want a phablet.

I'm not going to use my phone to cut anything, it doesn't have to be any thinner than it already is; what it needs is longer battery, period. Apple should make the 6 as thick as the 4 and use all the extra space for battery, even of it means a bit heavier... It's still lighter than the booster charge I have to carry around...

iPhones are now "good enough". that's why there is "no set time" in buying a new one. the new screen should make a big difference. i still think they should stop making the device too thin. iPhone 5 thickness is fine and a good trade off for a better battery life. i would like to see a bigger screen and huge battery life improvement before i purchase another iPhone.

Battery life is totally subjective and depends on how you use the phone. You can't watch movies all day on a phone and complain about battery life. Use it like a phone and when you need it then it will last. most of the people are unnecessarily playing with the phone all the time.

not really. i think most people want one full day of heavy smartphone usage. mixture of videos, games, web, chat, camera, maps usage. i rarely use it as a phone anymore ha.

The things that go with the phone that can make it better. Newspapers to news like this, tv on the go nowadays, old bulky cameras to the ones on phones, etc.

Of course we want to use it a lot. That's why we got an iPhone in the first place. All the apps on it drain the battery quickly. For example go to beach and take pictures, listen to music on it, play a couple games, read from it as well, text a couple people and then actually make a voice call on it. This uses plenty of battery and is like not to have to charge it or have a cord dangling from it for most of my fun day. Of course we use it a lot stupid.
