Here's a quick chart created by BusinessInsider comparing the specs of the new Amazon Fire Phone to the iPhone 5s, Nexus 5, One M8, Galaxy S5, and Lumia 1020.
Amazon announced its new phone earlier today which features Dynamic Perspective, a new sensor system to respond to the way you hold, view, and move it; as well as, Firefly, to quickly recognize things in the real world.
So basically the fire phone is weaker than the nexus 5 with all the bloatware people want to avoid for double the price of the nexus 5 (non contract). Ouch, I hope they are very good at marketing.
After all these years of HTC apple samsung with touchscreen, spamazon now has work and overtime to catch up on or in other word copy! But does it's os has anything compared to iPhones secured and most downloadable and simple os even by how it challenges it's looks? Can it come out being best of the best?
For example, IPhone lags in the camera, lack of stereo speakers, waterproofing, battery life, (I'll skip screen size since iPhone 6 will certainly fix that), etc. Surely they could do betterin these areas, and yet they never seem to do anything about it.
Take any phone to liquipel and your phone becomes waterproof even iphone all without a case or screen protectors, as for everything else, it used to lag when jailbroken but all fixed even nonjailbroke.
What I can never figure out is why a company, say Apple can't just look at the features of all the other phones and make one that beats all of them in every area.
Since we have yet to see the iPhone 6 there's no way to say how any of these compare. But the Amazon phone is certainly plenty of bang for the buck at $199 without a contract.
