Apple Solves Battery Issues With 5.5-Inch iPhone 6?

Posted June 4, 2014 at 4:54pm by iClarified
Apple has reportedly overcome issues it had with the battery for the rumored 5.5-inch iPhone 6 by switching suppliers, reports Laoyaoba via GforGames.

The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 apparently needs a very thin battery and Apple's main supplier, Dynapack International Technology Corporation, had issues with producing the slim battery. Apple is now said to have teamed up with a different supplier for batteries.

Based on these fresh reports, Sunwoda is the one who will now have the task of supplying the company with the necessary batteries, and based on these reports, Sunwoda will have the responsibility to produce roughly 20 million batteries (each at 40 yuan -> roughly $6.4 ).

Recent reports have suggested that Apple will unveil a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 as early as August (September may be more likely) with the 5.5-inch version following shortly after.

Maybe Samsung gave them a few tips. They seem to have no trouble at all with their batteries

one problem that was mentioned in an article i read was talking about how apple has HUGE bezels. meaning that the 4.7" iPhone physical size can get close to a Galaxy Note even though the screen size is different. We will have to see. Meanwhile, Apple if you are reading, work on removing the bezel space as much as possible in future iPhones.
