Leaked Photo Reveals Specs of New MacBook Air

Posted April 28, 2014 at 6:56pm by iClarified
Apple is expected to launch updated MacBook Airs tomorrow and a leaked photo now reveals specs for the entry-level 13-inch model.

The only noticeable change is the processor which has been updated from a 1.3GHz i5 (with Turbo Boost up to 2.6GHz) to a 1.4GHz i5 (with Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz).

It's believed that the higher-end build-to-order model will move from a 1.7GHz processor to a 1.8GHz processor.

no retina no care. and the new battery saving processor is not exclusive to apple. everybody gained. they really did right when they first came out. they basically altered the laptop market. all you see is macair copies but there is no innovation anymore. makes me think that apple doesn't know what to do with the iPhone either. so they just trickle out updates.

You don't know what to do with your life. Apple is upgrading the MacBooks because maybe some users asked for this or maybe just put enough power to continue to be the best notebooks around, as for iPhone there are few things it hasn't gotten but that doesn't mean apple will stop there either. If you looked at "30 years of Mac" and read "imagine what we can accomplish in the next 30 years" that means jobs would never give up just like Tim. Cars continue to change and get better so maybe apple can continue to do that, just give it time.

Damn. That's lame. That's the best they could do in a years time? I have a 2011 model and they sure havent done a whole lot in 3 years but sit on their hands.

The post implies that that was the only change.

The supposed 12 hour battery is not a new feature.

Still, it may be more power in it that does it.
