Apple will reportedly launch updated MacBook Airs as soon as tomorrow, according to 9to5Mac sources.
Shipments of the new MacBook Airs have already begun arriving at Apple Stores across the country and employees are scheduled to re-arrange their placement in stores before tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s 11-inch and 13-inch Airs are codenamed J41A and J43A, respectively, and their SKUs are simply a variation to the current MacBook Air SKU labels. For example, the entry 13-inch MacBook Air of today is known as “MD760LL/A”, while this week’s refreshed version is known as “MD760LL/B.” It’s unclear if Apple will even promote the updated Airs.
The new MacBook Airs are said to feature slight speed increases and tweaked storage options. Apple is also said to be working on a new 12-inch MacBook with Retina Display; however, that notebook is predicted to launch later in the year.
