Holographic iPhone 6 Concept: 'The Dream' [Video]

Posted March 9, 2014 at 8:32pm by iClarified
SET Solution has created a new holographic iPhone 6 concept entitled 'The Dream'. The phone is able to project images above the device and to the sides for multitasking.

"In this video we've tried to imagine some futuristic features, such as holograms, interactive screen, a new way to unlock the iPhone... Maybe we could found them in the new iPhone 6, maybe not... but one thing is for sure: dreaming is fantastic and makes life more beautiful!"

This isn't the first time we've seen a holographic iPhone concept. This concept from Aatma Studio was mistaken by Fox 5 News as being the iPhone 5.

Take a look at the video below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

But how will holographic work if you're holding it. This makes it 2 flaws, the fingers block the other apps and it won't work unless it's on a flat surface.

This is to ridiculous to even be considered a concept. Watch now everybody is going to walk into apple asking when the holographic iphone is coming out.

Who here says they wanted it, not every concept will be for iPhone just like people don't always get what they want. Logic.

I would ressurect and murder every apple executive if they ever went after this idea. It is utterly useless. I don't see this SET company going anywhere with such idiocy..

What would you do if every user went to samscum for bigger screen, would you wait on this idea or do it NOW, seems like you have no choice but even if you still disagreed, you can try to kill all you want, we have iVaccums ready for the night since we continued with smart ass progress thank you very much.

Timmy, I picked you to lead the starship. We are apple. We don't care about what other companies doing. We set the standard, push the boundary just enough to rattle the unimaginative industry. Our users are consisted to 4" screens. Other companies make bigger screen phones with no sense of direction. Our base loves the form factor and as we gradually upgrade it so comes them. Samsung will continuously copy us but does that mean that we should copy the industry? No, we are apple. We improve things don't copy them. How is the Apple TV and I watch projects coming along?

Making the phone bigger isn't really copying unless looks are that similar, like edge to edge just like HTC or making the front covered up even more like gaylaxy would. Apple TV will support games like consoles would and will come with a ground breaking feature that rivals roku, iWatch is still something up in our sleeve, we are close to release.

Haha... Good one Stevie. I was there however, right beside you, while we ripped off every innovation out there. Remember that speech you gave about "borrowing ideas"? Yes, Apple does a great job marketing, but lets get real about "leading innovation".

Wiz, We borrow ideas and make them attractive. That's our motto. With this mind set we will continuously push the wheel and stumble over segments of the industry that are completely untouched. Tim, The iWatch is a sure game changer if done right. If we manage to incorporate the technology properly we will have another home run. I hope you guys are following the market and see how it needs to be brought back to one device. We have gadgets for heart rates, health etc. the watch need to be more personal. It needs to provide an entirely different experience than your phone something that is at its simplest and extension of you. The phone made your communication break free now we need the iWatch to be an extension of everything else.

Borrowed ideas? And yes the iWatch will come with a health monitor or something like that.

Not bad but what I tried to multitask while holding the phone? It would not work.

You can get the most out of the phone along with what matters most, perfect picture and apps you find. Note 3 will always look after iPhone to keep up after them.
Yeah
Yeah - March 9, 2014 at 8:42pm
Apple will never have enough Battery for that!!!

You'll never have enough proof to prove it. Look how they came up with power efficiency. My ipad air and 5s last up to 2-4 days.
