Mark Bell of of Belm Designs has posted a new concept for an iWatch with a circular face. The device was designed for a contest featuring future products from some of today’s tech-giants.
--- We toyed with different shapes and even based a few on current offerings on the market today. We found that when it comes to a watch or in this case a “Smart Watch”, a traditional circular shape was most favorable. Most people are quite comfortable with the shape and it still exudes class and style.
To keep things simple, the watchband was created from a stretchable rubber-nylon mix with micro perforations for maximum breathability yet strong and lightweight. The traditional clasp was replaced in lieu of a “Mag-Twist Lock” type clasp for easy removal.
The watch is constructed with a uni-body design. The body is pressed from a single titanium disk into shape and CNC milled to perfection. The face of the device is powered by a circular touchscreen with retina display to handle all your HD viewing needs. The device is also equipped with 4G and blue tooth communication and powered by a dual core microprocessor for multitasking operations. Product finishing is complete with chamfered edge treatments and a mix of titanium and chrome accents. ---
Apple's iWatch is expected to integrate tightly with iOS 8, implementing sensors which will send back vitals and user data to a new 'Healthbook' app. To make this happen, Apple has been hiring designers and fitness experts for its team. Most recently, Apple hired Roy J.E.M Raymann from Philips Research, an expert on sleep research. It's also seeking a 'User Studies Exercise Physiologist' to design and run user studies related to cardiovascular fitness & energy expenditure.
Hardware-wise the company is expected to use a LG Chem’s stepped battery, a 1.52-inch LG display, and is reportedly testing solar and wireless charging.
Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty estimates that Apple's rumored iWatch would generate $17.5 billion in sales during its first year, if released.

This is beautiful but a bit large for a women's watch. Please can you make a smaller one for me with the functions I need? I have combed the internet for a simple watch with a good quality recording function that allows sequential recording and playback. It does not exist.
There are cheap plastic voice memo watches that wipe out my previous memo when I record another.
There are "smart" watches which are unwearably huge because they have all the functions I already have on my iphone.
There are complicated "spy" watches that record voice memos but they look like floating mines and I'm not a spy.
But I can find nothing that allows me to record a reminder safely while I'm driving, add another and play it back at home. Please make one for me. Thank you.
How much Money do you think The Apple iWatch will be in $$$ when it comes out? Cause I really want 1, I hope it's not gonna be like $500 or something? $200 or $250 I will be able to buy an Apple iWatch if it that price?
