iPhone 6 Concept Features an 'EYE ID' Retinal Scanner [Video]

Posted December 14, 2013 at 5:03pm by iClarified
While the iPhone 5s features a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, SET Solution imagines what the iPhone 6 might be like if it used the more secure retinal scan.

iPhone 6 with EYE ID Retinal Scanner
Safety is a factor that should never be underestimated! Precisely for this reason, our experts, with the new iPhone 6 have devised a new technology for smartphones: EYE-ID retinal scanner for the iPhone 6.

With iPhone 6 EYE ID you will be able not only to unlock your iPhone but it will be also possible to sign-in to your app store, bank account, and all of yours favourite services with a level of security never reached before!

I honestly don't give a f@ck about new features they come up with, even if they keep the 5S for 3 more years, as long as they make a 128GB version i'll be happy, 64GB isn't enough, but the iPad is a start at least

I happen to think its a great concept if they can make it work from a reasonable angle, works through eyeglasses and the irregular shapes of astigmatism as well. Also that it does not damage any healthy eyes. Anything is possible technology evolves. I know there are other phones that know where your eye is moving. I think a slightly wider screen option is also great.

Forget your post, it's what really matters than just replacing a new lock with a new lock like for some people, big screen for example!

I want to see the DNA security on the iPhone. You just lick the screen to unlock it. Haha

I think a Rectinal scanner would be better than this load of bullshit

I am speechless. Good imagination. But not going to happen. Apple is better to concentrate the effort to make a bigger screen but still can maintain the reasonable size of the phone.

Not a bad idea but most retinal scanners require you to get within 6" of the scanner for a positive read. It would be weird to stick the phone that close to your face each time you want to unlock it.

So-called safety features but in reality the iPhone gives out the most information out, to third parties and the government.
