French site Nowwhereelse believes it has gotten its hands on the rear shell for the next generation iPad mini that is expected to be announced sometime next month.

The shell shows off the new 'space gray' color that Apple introduced for the iPhone 5s (which replaced the previous slate color) just a few weeks ago. We have previously seen leaks for both the next-generation iPad mini and iPad that shows off the rear shell as the usual silver/slate, but this is the first time we are seeing the space gray color.

Apple is rumored to reveal the new iPads at an October 15 event, which has yet to be announced by the company.
