Gold iPhone 5S vs. iPhone 5 Scratch Test [Video]

Posted August 28, 2013 at 5:04am by iClarified
Check out this video that shows a gold iPhone 5S vs. iPhone 5 scratch test. The video was posted to YouTube by iPodUplink.

The scratches caused by the coin did virtually no damage to the gold iPhone 5S while they caused quite a problem with the black iPhone 5. Because of the materials underneath the black version shows obvious holes in the paint that look terrible, this however was not the case with the iPhone 5S. When it came to the knife test overall the damage looks worse on the gold iPhone 5S. This is because the long marks and deep scratches are more visible with the gold background. The iPhone 5 black shows practically nothing other than the parts where the silver underneath shows.

Apple is expected to unveil the gold iPhone 5S on September 10th.

it's fake. First of all look closely at the gold panel. Only logo, no indefication number, serial number, and look at the flashlight hole, its not rounded, means its a custom panel, so when u installing it will fit to your flash, alot on the internet stores, I have mine with lamborgini logo instead of apple.

The most annoying and stupidest things are these tests. Scratch, Drop, Blend, Incinerate, whatever.......... It's common sense that your phone is going to get scratched no matter what even under normal use without a case. Lamers
