Apple has posted a new ad for the iPhone 5 entitled, 'Music Every Day'.

Every day, more people enjoy their music on the iPhone than any other phone.

Take a look at the video below. The ad is the second in the 'Every Day' series. The first was entitled 'Photos Every Day'.

Sure. So what? Being Internet + iPod + Phone is no longer a distinctive competitive factor. You can listen to music with just about any device out there these days. The commercial is lame. Apple is in big trouble and they are playing catch up. They either innovate, and the innovate now, or their "magic" will go away fast.

I have an iPhone 5 and have had many of the previous versions. That being said I like Apple but I have to say, this ad was a total waste of money. It doesn't appeal to me nor do I think it would entice non-iPhone users to get an iPhone. They're pushing a benefit that's several years old; nothing new. The "magic" seems to have left Apple with Steve Jobs. Show us something new Apple.

I like the 0:18 part. The man had to dry his hands before touching the phone. Samsung created a cool magic of waving a hand to answer a call or pointing a finger without actually touching the phone. Both ways, while taking a bath will still put your phone at mess with water. Not that practical but a gimmick.

Keep it classy, Apple. This is why they rule. No name calling.
