Apple has submitted its revised plans for its new headquarters in Cupertino, which scheduled to be completed by 2016. These new revised plans place an emphasis on the nearby land and atmosphere, by showing off new bike paths, improved parking areas, street renderings. The project is reportedly behind schedule and $2 billion over budget.
Apple's revised campus plan includes the addition of an expanded section detailing bicycle access improvements, which comes with an included visualization of what bike pathways and sidewalks might look like on the campus.
In order to reduce constructions costs, Apple is now planning to build a 300,000 square feet section of the project after development. The "Tantau Development" (pictured below) will now be built after the main campus is built in order to reduce initial costs.
The Campus 2 budget is around $5 Billion and can hold up to 12,000 employees.
