Apple to Release Polycarbonate 4.5-Inch iPhone in 2014?

Posted February 28, 2013 at 10:38pm by iClarified
A new report from Macotakara claims that Apple will release a polycarbonate 4.5-inch iPhone in 2014.

While various informations fly about, as for a 4.5-inch liquid-crystal model, a plan will be postponed to sale in 2014

The new device will allegedly look very similar to the iPhone 5 with the same placement of the LCD and home button. Due to its polycarbonate body, the phone may be somewhat thicker.

Probably in order to maintain a resilience, thickness is increasing, but the informed sources are saying that it is only a level that is not different from having equipped iPhone 5 with the casing made from polycarbonate.

The phone is said to cost significantly less than the current device with pricing set around $330.

Additionally, the site mentions that next generation "iPhone 5S" will receive a dual light-emitting-diode flash similar to previous rumors.

This is how it works..... In order for Apple websites and blogs to be successful, they have to have news. So, when Apple doesnt release anything for a while then there is no news. So what these websites do is makeup tons of rumours to get people to come back. We all know over half the rumours are never true anyway. We all just have to wait until Apple releases their stuff or makes public announcements - other than that it all waste of time speculation - I for one never believe any rumour until verified by Apple. By doing so it gave me so much more time reading worthwhile articles than these waste of time rumoured crap..... there see- I just wasted my time writing this crap. BTW... Apple to release a iPhone 6 by Dec, skipping the iPhone 5S.

I take it by Polycarbonate they mean plastic... Apple always trying to blind people with big words to make out they are doing something innovative.

Doubt it. Tim Cook said himself, they are only going to continue offering products in the highest quality. Build quality is something Apple will never compromise.
