Apple CEO Tim Cook to Sit With Michelle Obama for State of the Union Address

Posted February 11, 2013 at 10:06pm by iClarified
Apple CEO Tim Cook will reportedly sit with First Lady Michelle Obama for the State of the Union Address on Tuesday, reports Mercury News.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will sit in the First Lady's box, a White House official said. He will be joined by military families, those championing immigration reform and those whose lives have been touched by gun violence. The First Lady also invited Bobak Ferdowsi, known as the NASA's "Mohawk Guy," a member of the Mars Curiosity rover team at NASA and Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Last year, Laurene Powell Jobs was a guest of the First Lady when Steve Jobs was mentioned in the address.

You see, an economy built to last is one where we encourage the talent and ingenuity of every person in this country. That means women should earn equal pay for equal work. It means we should support everyone who's willing to work; and every risk-taker and entrepreneur who aspires to become the next Steve Jobs.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will be presenting at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference in the morning.

Like Steve Jobs said don't ask what Steve would do. How do you know what he would do. Besides when you get asked to be at the State of the Union you accept graciously. It's good business.

I think that Apple has great products. For Mr. Cook to meet with the First Lady about any issue is a start for a brighter Tomorrow in the American History. A CHANGE is what's important. We as American Brothers & Sisters need this change of heart. Most SMART Americans think outside the box. We as a people can't forget but it is Gods will for us to forgive in order to have a better tomorrow. My table is clear for any suggestions. Whatever the conference is about, I hope that it is good! Sooner or later, A CHANGE IS GONNA COME! I am all for it!!!!

What are you talking about? Saying that Steve Jobs would never do something like this? He did stuff like this countless times. before he died he was invited to many presidential parties and meetings. Look it up.
