California-Based Quanta Facility Added to Apple's List of Final Assemblers

Apple has added a California-based Quanta Computer facility to its list of final assembly facilities.
These are facilities where Apple products are assembled and packaged for distribution. Since 2007, we have audited our third-party final assembly facilities on an annual basis.
The facility is located at 44350 Nobel Drive in Fremont, California, USA and is designated as being a final assembly location for Macs.
Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company is spending $100 million to bring some Mac production to the U.S. It appears that Quanta may be the facility being used.
