Well, a few things The unidboy means you can't get in and access the components in the case of a hardware failure or desire to upgrade (memory being the notable exception). I know Apple likes to keep a tight leash on what hardware goes into a Mac, but it would be nice to be able to swap from a dual-core to a quad-core when the time comes, or buy a better (Apple-approved) video card if your needs change. The display comes part and parcel with it, and can't take input from any other device. What if your PC died one day, and you REALLY wanted to switch to a Mac, but already owned a killer 24-30 monitor? What about when the time comes to upgrade to a new machine? You're out a display you paid a premium for. I'm not entirely against the iMacs, it's just too bad that Apple makes a throwaway unidboy your only real desktop option. The Mini is cool, but there's plenty of market between it and a Mac Pro! It smacks of forced, planned obsolescence.
