Data from Toshl Finance, a budgeting and expense tracking app, reveals that iOS users spend more and earn more than Android users.
The average iOS users earns $2,751 per month and spends $3,297 every month. Compare that to the average Android users who earns $2,250 per month and spends $2,761 every month. That's about a $500 difference between spending, income, and users.
Notably, income and spending for Windows and Symbian customers is notably less.
Toshl has over 360,000 users; however, this study only looked at its top ten markets including the United States, China, the EU, and Russia.

I am rich.. but I have a windows pc and android phone.. no need for apple.. even publishing this shows iclarified's "NEED" for SNOB.. very tacky website. Just passing by and gone..
Statistics.
Android devices on AVERAGE cost less (The price range is soo different to Apple. You can buy an "android" device for $59. So you would expect they are in a different spending/earn bracket
Like the OS wars. Comparing a sale of an iPhone to (eg) a base LG and calling them both SMART phones, may suit some, but they are not the same. Many low end android devices cant run some of the software that high end units can. Different markets so the "smart phone" moniker is very misleading.
The more worrying thing is how can all these users spend more than they earn (on average). IF this is true then the world economy needs smart people much much more than smart phones......
