OCDock Adds an iPhone Dock to Your iMac or Apple Display [Kickstarter]

OCDock is a clean and simple iPhone dock that attaches to your iMac or Apple Display.

The OCDock is developed so that it does not take any extra desk space, it uses the footprint of your displays stand. Therefore you have much more space and freedom on your desk and one less wire to worry about. A clean desk allows more space for creativity and efficiency. Less clutter on the table, more peace in your mind.

The dock is CNC machined from a solid piece of high-grade aluminum, glass bead blasted and anodized to match the finish of the iMac/Thunderbolt Display. It is adhered to the base of the display and runs an ultra thin USB cable under the base to connect to the USB ports at the back of the display.

There are two versions of the dock available. The OCDock is slightly larger to support cases and comes with three interchangeable silicone supports. The OCDock Mini is for naked iPhones and comes not come with silicone supports.

The dock is available in black or aluminum colors. You can pledge $59 (OCDock) or $55 (OCDock Mini) to be one of the first to receive one. The project has raised
$20,821 of its $49,000 goal with 18 days to go.

Hi, does anyone know if you are charging the iPhone will it block the Infrared Sensor for the Apple Remote. It's a great design, but I'm concerned that you can't charge and use the remote at the same time. Cheers.

Hi JP, It does not block the sensor totally, the IR sensor still works with the remote.

My only concern about this dock is whether or not I could use it with my cleave iPhone 5 case, no other dock supports it, but this one does, that's what sold me on this dock

Hi, I'm one of the creators of the OCDock. If you can give me the precise measurements of your case, I would be more than happy to measure if it fits. I think, that it fits, because I have tried the iPhone 4 version of it in our iPhone 4 dock and that one worked perfectly. Harry
