Mac App Store Review Times Rise Significantly [Chart]
Posted October 8, 2012 at 4:54pm by iClarified
The average wait time to have your Mac App Store submission be approved has risen significantly, reports Shiny Development.
Early this year wait times dipped to just three days but have since steadily risen to an average of about 26 days.
The averages on this site are based only on the data gathered from Twitter which are a very small subset of the total number of apps which go through review each day. However in our experience it does give a reasonable indication of how review times are changing over time.
The data also lines up with our experience at iClarified. Our iClarified Menu Bar app took 28 days to have its latest update approved.
Developers who want to help Shiny Development with more data can tweet their waiting times using the #iosreviewtime and #macreviewtime hashtags.
