The WSJ is confirming that mass production of the iPad mini has started in Asia.
Asian suppliers for Apple Inc. have started mass production of a new tablet computer smaller than the current iPad, executives at component makers said, as the Silicon Valley company tries to stay competitive against tablets from rivals such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.
The smaller tablet will have a 7.85-inch liquid-crystal display with a lower resolution than the latest iPad, which was released in March, two of the people said. The screen on the current iPad measures 9.7 inches diagonally, a size that hasn't changed since the first model was released in 2010.
Parts for the new tablet have purportedly been leaked online, as have mockups showing what the finished product may look like.
A recent report said that Apple will send out invitations to its iPad mini event on October 10th.

I have iPhone since 6 years, but now I'm looking for Samsung Note, because I need something bigger and 'all in one' (tablet and phone) for my work.
My question is : Apple will create a product like Samsung Note? I think IPad Mini can do it.
I'm sorry for my English.
