Video Beautifully Summarizes Expected Features of the New iPhone 5 [Watch]

Posted September 11, 2012 at 2:10pm by iClarified
A video by Sam Beckett summarizes the new features expected for the iPhone 5 which will likely be unveiled by Apple tomorrow.

The phone is drawn as accurately as possible, based on leaked dimensions. Some features such as the new dock connector and larger screen size are almost definitely likely to appear in the new iPhone 5. Other features are included only for concept purposes, such as 'Fingerprint Scan to Unlock'.

Everything has been drawn and animated from scratch; from the icons, to the user interfaces and of course the hardware itself. I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Apple's Final Cut Pro X.

Beckett includes a long shot fingerprint scanner and a concept Mission Control but otherwise it's very close to what most are expecting from Apple tomorrow.

Take a look below...

wow. awesome new site!!!! and I love this concept video. This video is really well done! I love it that the Samsung crowd are so jealous that it isn't worth it doing one of these for the constantly changing wildly named Samsung devices... I was almost ready to switch and used both my old 4s and the "new" Galaxy S3 for the past month and hate the S3... guess I will stay Apple fan.

Just bought an iPhone 4S but found its too small for my fingers. Saw this video and still not impressed. I returned my iPhone after a week. Apple seems to be lacking in innovation and stuck to the past. It's become a legacy product that they are too afraid to change. Will check out Lumia 920 when it's out.

Ignoring the trolls n the actual technicalities of the phone itself...what brilliant animation work.

Great! I want one. Don't believe the "finger print scan", though. It would make letting a friend borrow it to check what you're reading, or play a game impractical, but the rest makes sense.

You had me....... until the fingerprint scanning in the home button. It would be a sweet feature though.

If this new iPhone doesn't have a noticeably wider screen the Galaxy SIII will be coming home.

It's not going to, you need to be able to hold the phone and reach the edge of the screen with your thumb in one hand, once u start needing 2 hands to navigate, it's not a phone

Agree completely! They'd better leave the width the same or else I'm sticking with my gorgeous 4S.
