For the first time since its launch, the iPhone 4S is not the best selling smartphone in the U.S., according to Michael Walkley at Canaccord Genuity.
Channel checks reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S III outsold the iPhone 4S in August. That, of course, is because many customers know Apple is planning to unveil a new phone this month and are waiting for its release.
To iClarified app developer: This is one of those articles where I can't read one thing on the chart (attached graphic) because of no pinch and zoom in the app.
That's because its taking this long to find out that apples iPhones all come with a buy another phone in a year BUG? always some thing wrong with them that they don't fix till next year
Its sad that it takes almost one year for Samsung to take the crown from Apple for one Month. LMAO in one week of September the iPhone 5 will sell as many phones Samsung sold of its Samsung S3 since they release it in Jun. LOL 7 1/2 days and counting. Guess Samsung will have to wait another year to get the crown again.
I don't understand why there so much from the consumer. We suppose to be happy with new products from these genius (Apple, Samsung, etc). Everyone in my family owned an iPhone, but we don't mind trying different thing. Don't let Apple monopoly, because you will regret by their products in the near future.
What, it's news that a whole week before the release of the new iPhone that the old one is selling a few less numbers? What a stupid report. I'm sure Android will milk this press release for all they can get out of it.
In case you didn't noticed, this is by month, not by year. Every year, in July, august, september, iPhone starts to slow down the sales because most of the people prefer waiting for the next iPhone generation. It's just logical.
