IE is a pain in the ass for developers. Also their 64 bit version has a lot of issues to be resolved. Microsofts own website didn't show all the images when I loaded it one time.
Go google.
Usage doesn't mean anything to me, will stick to firefox for now, for features and security and let chrome and IE keep fighting or get better then I may consider looking into it.
Chrome? What's that? IE is the the number 1 browser for downloading other browsers!
The only reason I think it surpassed anything is because the attach Chrome to almost every freeware and puts it as a checked install with the freeware. Most people don't even notice this and just hits OK. Quite deceiving if you think about it!!!!
Even if it comes as a freeware together with software that people install, so what? Installing it doesnt mean it will surpass IE. In this article "surpass" means people use it more than IE. Installing it on the comp alone doesnt contribute to this usage, people have to actually open it up and use it, you get it?
