Intel is expected to move up its Ivy Bridge processor launch to April 23rd from the previously scheduled date of April 29th, according to a DigiTimes report.
Intel, which originally planned to announce its new Ivy Bridge processors on April 29, is expected to bring forward the announcement to April 23 with Asustek computer, Acer, Lenovo and Hewlett-Packard (HP) all ready to release their second-generation ultrabooks starting in May, according to sources from notebook players.
Apple is expected to unveil a new MacBook Pro and update its iMacs with the new processors some time after they launch.
