Tweak Makes Your iPhone Signal Bars More Accurate

Tweak Makes Your iPhone Signal Bars More Accurate

Posted March 26, 2012 at 6:27pm by iClarified
Bars is a new tweak by phoenix3200 that makes your iPhone signal bars display a more accurate representation of signal strength.

Bars lets you you see more about your signal strength, without having to decode what an RSSI is. You still get the familiar five bars, but with an added bonus: if you've got 3.5 bars of signal, the fourth bar will be half full.

You can get Bars from the Big Boss Cydia Repository.

i think its just the same with the *3001#12345#* call code.. you'll see that your bars will turn into numbers indicating RSSI(3G) or RxLev(2G).. the greater number, the better... to make the numbered signal bars stay on your iphone, after you execute the code, long press power button till the "slide to power off" appears, then long press the home button till your home screen appears.. just tap on the signal to change from bars to numbers... :)

Great, now when I have 3 and a half bars it looks like my iPhone is flipping me the middle finger.
