Apple Begins Shipping the New iPad to Customers

Apple has already begun shipping the new iPad to customers who pre-ordered the device, according to numerous reports.

Seth Weintraub of 9to5Mac has posted his shipping notification from Apple which shows the device leaving Chengdu, China with an estimated arrival date of March 16th.

Some U.S. users are reporting an arrival date earlier than March 16th while others in the U.K. have reportedly seen their arrival date pushed back to the 20th or 21th.

Have you got your ship notification yet? Anyone have an earlier estimated date of arrival?

mine was picked up in nashville TN with the notation "future delivery requested" so i guess they are holding them until the 16th?

got the same email from apple. odd thing though apple had debited my card but the charge has disappeared? anyone else seen this?

Mine was picked up by FedEx in Middleton, PA and I live outside Phila. Anyone else have one not coming from China?

I ordered 2, also live outside of Philly as well. It says they are being held at the Middleton PA location. It says it's being held for future delivery. So my guess is they already have them.
