Wow, well said!!! i agree with you. a company only needs so much to sustain itself and still maintain high profit margins. Apple can, IMO, make its employees and shareholders wealthy WHILE investing in its bottom line and still producing stellar products. they have more than enough cash to do it. (and then how about issuing dividends?!)

Greed is not the only reason here. There are just too many problems in running a factory plant on American soil. Regulations, permits, environmental issues, health concerns, labor laws, and a whole more to go through. It's almost impossible to comply with everything in the US while still making profits. GM employs hundred thousands of workers, does it look any good now? China is able to recruit thousands of worker overnight to work on the last minute changes and produce over 10,000 iPhone a day. Are Americans able to match that? Only robots or cheap labor is able to make millions of gadget to supply the high demand. And logistic is the real issue. Most parts are now made in Asia. It just makes sense for the assembly plant to be there. Why are people not complaining that Samsung devices and Kindle Fire not made in the US?

It's true that china abuse it's workers, no only Apple manufactures. Also it's true that Apple is the bigger company en the US, companies want them fail. One thing the Apple should do is bring the jobs back to US.

Yea and then watch the cost of everything Apple increase by 100% or more. Outsourcing from China is one of the reasons they are able to stay competitive with other manufacturers.

Do u really think that bring those jobs will create cheaper or same price products. Apple is not anti America, there is a reason for those jobs over there.
