The SGP Steinheil GLAS.t is a premium tempered glass screen protector for your iPhone.

SGP's Steinheil GLAS.t is made to protect the LCD from damage and scratches with specially processed glass that has been reinforced to increase shock absorbency.
The entire surface of the GLAS t is transparent and the back side is covered with a strong silicon adhesive for easy installation.

Whole Transparency: The GLAS.t is 0.4mm thick and made with chemically treated, transparent tempered glass.

Surface hardness/Oleophobic Coating: The surface of the GLAS.t has a hardness of 8-9H, three times stronger than regular PET film. Even sharp objects such as knives and keys will not scratch the GLAS.t.

Delicate Touch: When installed, there are no gaps between the LCD and the GLAS.t, which means the touch screen's sensitivity is unaffected.

Anti-Shatter Film: If broken, the GLAS.t breaks into small pieces that are not sharp, making it safer than other glass products.

You can purchase the screen protector for $27.99. Check out the video below to see it in action.

I am sorry that I purchased this crappy screen protector. I was on vacation and the iPhone got hot. The adhesive became soft and a large bubble formed under the screen which couldn't be removed. The screen protector slid off the surface of the iPhone and broke in half. It is a real ripoff.

Seems like a really neat idea. Worst thing about screen protectors is they remove the smooth glass feeling and the distortion they cause. This is the best of both worlds, clarifty and scratch protection. No screen protector guards against impacts anyway, so the spanner was a waste of time. Shame all these protection videos are done the same way, with a knife or something gently tapped against the screen, as Slim said super sharp items will never scratch a screen as it cannot cut glass, you need to test with blunter ruff items which are far more prone to scratch, like sliding it across a dirty table which has done the back of my 4 and 4S in.
