Adam Lashinsky talks about his new book entitled 'Inside Apple' which offers a look at the secretive company in an interview with AllThingsD.
Lashinsky notes that unlike the Walter Isaacson's biography that got unprecedented access to Steve Jobs, his book is based on interviews with ex-Apple people that go up and down and around the organization.
He also notes that Apple does business exactly the opposite way that business is taught in business school. "MBA schools teach empowerment and upward mobility. Apple is a micro managed organization where people stay in their jobs for a very long time. The business schools teach transparency, Apple is opaque and secretive."
