Charlie Ayers, Google's first chef and owner of Calafia Cafe, talks about cooking for Steve Jobs, in the video below from Forbes.

Before Google, Ayers was a private chef for a family of 14. So, he was used to cooking for a large audience. At first he was cooking about 50 meals per day. No problem. But within seven years he had to scale up his kitchen to serve between 10,000 to 15,000 per day. He moved from cooking to managing 150 employees. What he really wanted to do was to put his chef's hat back on. So, he left Google in 2006 to pursue his dream of writing a cookbook and opening his own restaurant.

In January 2009, Ayers opened Calafia Cafe inside the Palo Alto, California Town & Country Village shopping center. Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page frequent his restaurant as did Steve Jobs.
