Justice Annabelle Bennet of Sydney's Federal Court has ordered Apple to surrender private iPhone contracts with Australian telco's Vodafone, Telstra and Optus to Samsung, reports ChannelNews.

"Apple is to produce to barristers by noon on 10 November 2011 contracts between Apple on the one hand and Vodafone, Telstra and Optus on the other hand pursuant to the notice to produce issued by Samsung to Apple on 28 October 2011," today's judgement reads.

Apple vehemently opposed the request but Bennet said it was relevant and could help give Samsung a case.

Samsung is trying to prove that Apple has infringed its 3G mobile patents and also requested that the company turn over the source code for the iPhone 4S.

Apple apparently did give Samsung the code along with 220 pages of documents; however, Samsung is claiming that the documents are insufficient, with legal counsel suggesting foul play.
