Dragonframe 3.0 For Mac OSX

DZED Systems have announced the release of Dragonframe 3.0, a major update to their digital image capture software for stop motion animation, motion graphics and visual effects. The software, which was previously called Dragon Stop Motion, has been updated with a robust palette of new features including a frame-based timeline editor, lip-sync system and integrated motion control.

Dragonframe offers stop motion filmmakers, powerful, efficient software and hardware solutions to facilitate maximum productivity and unbridled creativity. Embraced by top studios and independent animators worldwide, Dragonframe is currently being used on three major stop motion feature films. It offers a comprehensive set of animation and cinematography tools, and offers hardware integrations for advanced 3D stereoscopic capture, lighting automation, and motion control.

Dragonframe 3.0 is available for Mac OS X and Windows.


New features include:
* Frame-based timeline with drag and drop frame editing
* Multi-character track reading and lip-sync interface
* Tabbed workspaces and a highly customizable work environment
* Configurable x-sheet with easy export options
* Vector-based drawing tools with increment editor to preview motion paths
* Advanced DMX lighting automation with keyframe programming and custom exposure lighting
* Arc motion control system with multi-axis move editor for programming complex camera moves, and stepper motor control via the open-platform Arduino platform as well as the proprietary IOTA controller
