HTC Sues Apple for Patent Infringement

HTC has filed suit against Apple claiming infringement on three of its patents by Macs, iPads, iPods, iPhones, and other devices, reports Reuters.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware seeks to halt Apple's importation and sale of infringing products in the United States. It also seeks compensatory damages, triple damages for willful infringement and other remedies.
Apple has filed two patent infringement cases against HTC with the ITC. Recently, an ITC judge has found HTC in violation of two Apple patents which appear to be at the core of Android and are likely infringed by all Android devices.
