Kodak is exploring the sale of the patent Apple is allegedly infringing on, according to the WSJ.
Kodak is currently litigating against Apple and RIM for infringing their patent for previewing photographs. It has put this patent and others up for sale after two straight quarters in which patent litigation income has dried up and contributed to losses.
Recently the company said it would consider the sale of 1,100 or 10% of its portfolio. At that time it wasn't clear if the image-previewing patent was for sale but Kodak has now acknowledged that it is.
