Personal Audio's second patent infringement complaint against Apple has been shot down by a judge in the eastern district of Texas, reports Engadget.
The company was looking to go after Apple for violating the same playlist related patents it used to win $8 million dollars in a case involving older iPods. This time Personal Audio tried to claim infringement by Apple's newer iPad 2, iPhone 4, and recent iPods.
Judge Ron Clark said the $8 million already award should be sufficient and denied the request for a second trial.
