Comex Drops Jailbreak Support for iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 Due to Time Constraints

Those planning on using Comex's future jailbreak need to upgrade to iOS 4.3.3, as Comex has announced that iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 will not be supported due to time constraints.

4.3.1 and 4.3.2 will not be supported since I'm in a hurry; upgrade to 4.3.3

With the recent leaks, Comex is now under pressure to release the jailbreak before Apple patches it. The jailbreak is rumored to be released soon and uses another PDF exploit.

Comex says that in the future he may eventually add support for firmware 4.2.1 and up.

Remember, if you plan on using ultrasn0w to unlock, and are on an older baseband to use a custom IPSW to update to 4.3.3. If you do not need an unlock, you can simply use iTunes to restore/update to 4.3.3.

We also strongly recommend that you save your 4.3.3 SHSH using Tinyumbrella [Mac] [Windows]

Jailbreakme.com was realesed this morning, tried with my iphone 4, 4.31 but the site said " its too new" you need to downgrade, you can confirm with @comex

That's for jailbreak me 2.0 we are waiting for jailbreakme 3.0 if you read the rest of it, it says 4.0.1 not 4.3.3

According to what @comex has said. I think it's safe to say if your going to jailbreak with this first release you need to update to 4.3.3 I just can't believe any body that would sabotage the work and what so many people were counting on should be banned from all technology.

Hi, so what if i have Ipad 2 wifi model GSM....I'm current on iOS 4.3.2 should i go ahead and update to the latest iOS which is 4.3.3? or stay where am at right now? because @comex has stated he drops the jailbreak support iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2. So can i go ahead and update mine now to iOS 4.3.3? thanks

yes .. exactly his JB will ONLY support iOS 4.3.3 so update to iOS 4.3.3 using iTunes while you can then SAVE YOUR SHSH using TinyUmbrella

Yes you can update but make sure you have saved your shsh blogs. You can do that with tiny umbrella. Then update via iTunes. After you have updated save shsh again. God bless comex!
