Google Maps Gets Alternate Route Selection in iOS 5

Google Maps in iOS 5 has been updated with the ability to select alternate route directions.

Previously, Google Maps would only display the one route which it thought was the most efficient. Now Google Maps offers multiple routes and lists each route's distance and estimated time.

When zoomed into the map, different colors represent the different possible routes. To select a route you simply tap the desired one and hit start to begin your navigation.
