I have the iOS 5 Beta but I'm concerned if I install it my other apps won't function anymore. Is this the case or will they still run as normal?

Does anyone know if this feature can be disabled? I have completely separate uses and setups for my phone and pad, I don't want them to be twins

You have to actively turn it on in the settings.
